Craze Law is a law firm located in Chesterfield County, Virginia that provides representation to Virginia community associations, including homeowners associations and condominiums. The firm also represents developers in association related matters - primarily initial association set up and governance. Cassie Craze, its founder, is a former homeowner association and condominium manager who has been in private practice since 2007 focusing on the representation of these entities. Cassie understands the special needs of community association clients to keep costs down while still receiving regular communication and quality legal work that is completed on time.
Craze Law provides a wide-range of legal services to its community association clients including, but not limited to, initial incorporation and setup, registration with the Common Interest Community Board, preparation and amendment of governing documents, drafting and review of rules and corporate policies, interpretation of governing documents and legal requirements, assisting with covenant and rule enforcement, drafting and negotiating contracts, compliance with resale disclosure requirements, resolution of disputes between the association and owners, transition of control from the declarant to the association, advising on Fair Housing issues, and guidance regarding meeting conduct and related issues. Please be aware that Craze Law no longer provides litigation or collections services but can assist clients in finding attorneys who can handle that type of work. If accepted by Craze Law, work will be performed on an as requested basis and only when the client or its agent specifically asks for the work to be performed.
