Cassie Craze, Attorney

Cassie began her career managing a portfolio of homeowners' associations and condominiums in the Richmond, Virginia area.  Following law school she served as a law clerk to the Honorable F.G. Rockwell, III in Chesterfield Circuit Court. Since 2007 she has been in private practice and has focused on the representation of community associations, first at the law firm Chadwick, Washington, Moriarty, Elmore & Bunn, P.C. and later at Rudy Coyner, Attorneys at Law.  She founded Craze Law, PLLC at the beginning of 2014.


Cassie earned her bachelor's degree in political science from James Madison University, magna cum laude, in 2000.  She earned her law degree in 2005 from the University of Richmond's T.C. Williams School of Law, also magna cum laude.  In law school she was a member of the McNeill Law Society, a John Marshall Scholar, and was awarded the Orrell-Brown Award for Clinical Excellence as well as the Academic Excellence Award.  Cassie was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2005.


Cassie has served on the Chesterfield County Revitalize Our Communities Committee and on the Board of Directors of the non-profit organizations Service Kids in Progress, Charitable Child, and Eden Village of Richmond.  She has served on the Board of Directors and on committees for various community associations.  She has been awarded the Rising Star Award and the Chapter Award by the Community Associations Institute and was named to the "Virginia Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers magazine in several different years.  In addition, Cassie has had articles on community association issues published in CAI's Consensus newsletter and has spoken several times at the Chesterfield Empowering Neighborhoods Forum and CAI's Community Associations Day. 


Cassie resides in Chesterfield County with her husband, Ben, and her children, Ethan and Abby.
